2284 hydro drive controls.
All this stuff is loose on the pivot pins, the Speed Control Cam Assembly. The hydro damper plate PN/ 703-0194, and the Hydro Cam Pivot Bracket PN/ 703-0196 .
This wear seemed to make a slower or soft reverse. Then the springs came out at the Hydro Trunion Slot. Now I have no reverse till I fix it. I see a Cam Pivot Bushing in a parts list, but will it fix the problems or do I need to start buying these new parts to get it right. Has anyone rebuilt or rebushing these with any luck? Any pointers?
