If Doc Brown had a nice IH ballcap! Looks great Todd!

My dad scored two 28 ton loads of asphalt millings for free the other day. I had already spread one pile, where the Deere is parked, when i took the pic. My uncle got us 8 20 ton loads last fall. The driveway's looking really good now! I made a road down to the barn using about a 1/4 of what we got. The 782 gets to clean up the tight spots. Free chit rocks!

Yeah I know, but I lost a bet last Sept. and can't cut it till I make good on it. I was talking smack with my hunting buddies, and one thing led to another, and I was so confident, that it would have been a slam dunk.
I said I'll cut it as soon as I kill three doe, or a buck. There wasn't a buck big enough on our property, so I figured I'd hammer the doe's. Well on the first evening's hunt, I got one, then messed up my shoulder a couple days later, and only was able to go three other times. But I was in the wrong place, at the wrong time.
So I need two more doe before I cut it. And Sept. is a long way away.

Free is good. Okay Travis, make it easier on me. How many yards does that come out to?

My math is probably wrong. I will guess 38 yards. There was a lot of powder and the 2nd pile got wet. It was a bitch to get a full bucket! I didn't have a counter going, but I'm gonna guess 40 to 50 buckets per pile to get it moved. That's also accounting for my poor scooping skills!

Here's a link to my search. My screenshot image was invalid.

If only you had a time machine you could go back and not make stupid bets.

That would apply to MANY things in life. Especially the older one gets.

Todd - By the time you get those other two does winter will be here and you'll be glad to have that extra "insulation". I know I would. My top side lets heat out faster than a fireplace chimney.

The weather here on the south side is just as bad. The heat doesn't bother me, but the humidity hangs on like a 200# wet jacket. Oppressive.

Sprayed a LOT of weed killer today with the 1200. I love that gear drive. I'm a little late, I usually like to spray just after the the first hay cutting, but I been busy. So today was a warm, dry day. Just a little too windy...sorry neighbor..hope you didn't like that Arborvitae hedge to much...

Oh well,..have a 'Gansett?

Busy last few weeks working on the 2182. Here is what I have done:

1. Completely rebuilt both hydraulic valves
2. Removed steering column, removed old grease, and installed new boot and grease. Installed brand new guides for tilt steering, new tilt spring, new steering column boot, and new tilt steering button
3. Installed brand new dash/instrument panel
4. Replaced the hydro pump cork gasket (Finally!)
5. Removed driveshaft and removed old grease, and installed new rubber boots and new fan blade
6. Installed new fan belt
7. Installed front bumper I bought
8. Cleaned all electrical connections and retaped wiring harness
9. Installed new power steering cylinder
10. Fresh hydraulic fluid and filter

I think that's it! Was a fun project.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
