Thanks! The wood is black walnut. We easily have 100 or more on the property. Nice trees but not so nice when there are a dozen in the front yard...what a mess to clean up every fall time

Pictured are of the two we had taken down. I saved some of the wood for a couple small projects. What was salvageable that is.

Oh yeah I remember you saying that’s what kind they are.

I know an old dairy farmer back home that’s now retired and he takes slices of those and other timber and makes them into clocks. He also takes the old cow stanchions and makes lamps out of them, really nice stuff.

Anyway, congrats on the new 125.

I had one bounce off the roof of my truck driving down the road yesterday. Nice dent. Good thing it's 20 years old.

Believe it or not I have only ever had one hit me. (That I remember, not sure if I was struck as a little tyke) I was raking leaves and one hit me in the back of the hand. That was bad enough I would not want one to the head.

125 is one of my favorites. Need to get another one..... my wife is still mad that I got rid of "her" tractor, lol.
