cool looking setup. I would love to have a snowblower, but since we get about one snow a year, my plow is good enough.

I would imagine yours was considerably more but apparently worth it as you ended up with that awesome 169. If you don’t want to share I understand but was just curious to see if the Fastenal gig is the way to go for bigger stuff. I’ve used R and L before with an LTL and it was right to my door from Texas and wasn’t bad either.
I have learned that Fastenal is the way to go. The snowblower came from WV to Niagara falls and I think it was $160. The seller put it on a pallet for me and could t be happier with the whole transaction.

To answer your question about the tractor I had to use a private company. The seller was quite older and to obtain this tractor took alot of my patience lol. Consequently he was unwilling to invest the time to put it on a pallet for me hence shipping company. It was around $500 door to door. Came in an enclosed trailer - I was very very pleased.

I am sure some people think that is nuts but I have always wanted a 169 and I do what i want with my hard earned money!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
