Thank you Todd and Tim for the input im leaning towards fastenal my question for you Tim is does fastenal require the cub to be on a pallet to ship and I believe they only ship to their own stores am I correct? I have one close to me but il have to see if the seller can get it to a store near him. How does fastenal accept the payment for shipping as well?
Sorry about all the questions this is just my first time having something shipped through something other than USPS or UPS Thanks again everyone. |

It’s store to store. You have to fill out shipping quote and ask seller for dimensions, weight, etc as well as from and to zip codes, has to be on a pallet. You sign quote if you accept and send back to fastenal/seller via email or fax. Your fastenal store will Notify you when it arrives and when you pick it up you pay, pretty simple. I’ve only done it once and it was a couple months ago but worked really well. Think this was already stated but seller will have to drain gas too

The link above will help you get started. Fill out a form to get a quote. Fastenal will want the tractor on pallet. I had boxes of stuff shipped and it was placed on pallets. They only ship store to store...... the seller will have to AGREE to drop tractor at his/her local Fastenal location. You pay before they ship.....in my case, credit card over the phone. Good luck.

I shipped a welder from San Diego to Florida.
They required payment when it was in Fastenals hands. Be aware that your shipment arrival will be dependent on room in their trucks. It might sit in a warehouse for a while before it moves again. So you have to be patient. Palletized and strapped down. Harbor Freight 1" ratchet straps were good enough. But might want to ask if what the seller plans to use is ok. The local Fastenal store might be willing to band it to the pallet for a fee. If the seller can only scrounge up a suitable pallet and deliver it and the 800 to the store. You or the seller will likely have to call the local store or visit to ask about that. The person giving the quote will likely say no. |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
