Gas gauge and seat cushion questions
I need a new gas cap w/ gauge. I have the gas tank where the threads for the cap are above the tank, not set down between the tank. (I've been told these tanks were recalled). Does anyone have a part number for the correct gas cap for my 1450? Tractor serial number is 2050066U 546208.
Also, I remember seeing a post about replacement seat cushions from a surplus store. I thought I had bookmarked it, but now I can't find it. Anyone remember that post, who the store was and/or which cushion you purchased for the low back seat? Thanks

I have NOT heard anything about a recall on the Quietline gas tanks. After all, that series is 30+ years old.
The correct Gas Gauge is.... IH-61635-C2 has been replaced by IH-61635-C3.

Thanks guys! Just what I needed. I think the recall was some years ago. The guy that told me that said there had been several fires due to the small filler hole. Who knows!
