If that’s the case, it could very well be my problem! ...that would make sense where it is rubbing the left side. Yay!
I looked through that section of the posted manual but must have missed that.

Routing the belt to the outside was it! Not sure how I missed it.
That’s the thing about dumb mistakes...at less least you don’t make that one again! 😀
It still seems close to rubbing the top of the belt on the other side but it works fine now.
Thanks again for everyone’s time, documents, and advise.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
