Need keys
My newly-acquired 102 came with a single, kind of mangled key. It works, but looks like it could break off any time. So I want to get a spare key or 2 and retire the 1966-vintage original.
Trouble is, I haven't been able to find one. I tried the local Ace, who have belped me in the past with keys for my 1959 boat, but they didn't have a blank. The local Cub Cadet dealer had only newer-model keys, and apparently RF Houtz is permanently closed at least on the retail side. Their website was kind of a dead end for the key. Any ideas where I can get the correct blanks to make new keys? My key has a letter G on it. Thanks Steve

I have got them from the local Cub Cadet dealer, but it has been a few years, so I don't know if they still have them.
If it helps you, I've found that my 123 and 125 use the same key and at a show some years back, I did a survey of available friends tractors that were on display to see what keys they used. I found that my CC keys would fit just about any IH tractor, not just Cub Cadets, from the mid-'50's when they first started using keys up into the 56 series. There was nothing newer to try, but who knows? Specifically, they fit a 350, a 560, a 756 and a 660, that I tried. They were all keyed the same. You might try expanding your key search to a Case/IH dealer. Take your key along and see if it matches up.

123 doesn’t use an Indak key. It has a toothed key like a car key.

Factory key from my 122. I think all the narrow frames used them.

Opppps......I stand corrected.
I assumed the "stamped key" was the standard issue for all Cub Cadets. IH did use a notched Key IH-131313-C2 Key up until the Quietlines.

Tooth key, yes, and I do stand corrected. My other narrow frames has the groove and tooth key. The 125 I normally use has an Indak key in it. The keyhole does look like it takes a grooved key and I should note that this key switch turns with a regular screwdriver. Probably all the tumblers stuck or or worn out. I recall a while ago that I lost a key and I guess I found a flat Indak. Sorry for any confusion.
