Default IH wheel weight color?
I'm wondering did IH run both white and yellow on the wheel weights, cause I have yellow on my O's and 71 and the 124 I just got has white ones

I think they were yellow initially and then turned white sometime between the 1x4/5 series and the 1x8/9 series...that's what it sorta looks like in the sales lit and stuff, anyway.

Regarding your rear wheel weights. I bought new a 782 in 1984. I bought 3 sets of wheel weights with the tractor and they were all Black. I still have and use the wheel weights on one of my 782s. I have repainted them a couple of times and they are still Black.

I think CCC probably painted any of those they acquired from IH black. That's more than likely what's going on there. They would not have been black before that.
