But yer still gonna have a certain degree of struggle depending on the type of rim, tire size, condition of tires and rims, etc.
You will want to mount the base to something solid. I have seen them mounted on wooden pallets, tree stumps, and truck tail gates. Saw another on a Reese hitch.
I clamp mine in a large vise on the workbench. A little bit higher than I'd like but it works.
Hi Iron, I didnt get a chance to thank you for this advice yet. I'll have to figure out where to mount this, even if its not a miracle unit, anything that keeps me outta the tire store and my wallet in my pants will be a blessing! Got a lotta tires to swap here!

Hi everyone.
I get my DEKA Cub Cadet 11U1l batteries at Lowe's. I even got the big DEKA (EXT30LA) for my Harley there as well. Great prices if you don't mind about a 10 day or so wait. I always keep one on the charging table hooked up to a Deltran Battery tender ready to go just in case.

OK, Ironman was right. This HF rig is not a magic tool. I got the 6-12 ags on using the HF mini tire changer. But it was a BEEECH! NOT FUN. Just like the video below ended up using the tire spoons rather than the red bead tool.

The inner tube valve stem is at an angle on one. Maybe tomorrow I will let the air out and try to shift that tube not sure if that will work. But, they are on, and on the tractor. Some of the lug bolts had damaged threads and tomorrow I'll chase those with the tap and the die.

next up is the tri-rib fronts.

Here's a video that i showed my wife. It is essentially exactly what was going on in my shop.

The HF tire jig was much better with the fronts. Got the tri ribs on the blasted and painted fronts, pounded in the new sealed bearings and put em on. That freed up enough wheels and tires that hold air to put onto the 123 project so it can be rolled out of the way. I did apparently get one inner tube in there backwards and the stem pulled back a bit. Dint feel like fixing that today tho. And we'll see when time comes to remove dry hard rears and fronts from the other wheels with the HF gizmo tho!
Life's good.

I still use my HF mini tire changer on front tires, but I've decided the local tire shop can mount the rear tires for me from now on.

I hear ya Sawdust. My oldest friend has a car shop with tire machine but it doesnt go down to 12". So I may follow you and go to a tire store if I get too frustrated.

Getting the old dry cracked stiff turf tires off these wides may end up at the tire store but we'll see. The last ones I ended using a sawzall but even that was a miserable experience...

Picked up a very rusty plow for $60. I hope it fits the 100, in the installation manual which I found online looks like the two vertical mounting brackets are for an original, but I can fab something if necessary. Need to find where to get a new edge strip. And next summer this can be sandblasted, painted. Its got some deep pitting but still serviceable.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
