It appears to be a PO add on. those decals belong to a TD 14a crawler also built by IH. Also the hood is painted yellow where the original color should be white. I wouldnt think Harvester would easily mess up with putting the wrong decals on thier line ups (the two were built in seperate factories), but there is always a chance that a dealer may have or etc, but not sure why. I think the PO wanted to customize it with other IH badges. I must say i do like the International decal across the hood.

Cubby, that CCO has been on CL for a long time. Like dieseldan123 stated, those are just the PO (well I guees the O...lol) did to "customize" it. I don't recall what the price is for it, but overall it looks solid..

ya i think you guys are right. iv been looking for a parts tractor for a original that a friend from Texas is bringing up to me around the 1st of the year, and found this one. just curious of markings and thought it was different. but this guy wants $300 for it and that a little steep for a tractor that's for parts. ill probably contact the sponsors for my needs as i only need a few .

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
