I went through the whole gamut from shovel to walk behind snowblower to tractor and here's where I ended up, inside where it's warm and I can let the horses under the hood do the work while I listen to music. Don't be fooled, the way I have it set up it'll push anything and it'll pull anything. Last year I pulled a fully loaded UPS truck out of the snow down the street from my place. My neighbor has a 4WD truck with a plow and after using it for two Winters he told me he's going to get rid of it and get one like mine. He couldn't get back up his driveway so I drove up and plowed it down so he could make it. Best snow remover I've ever owned. Hint, it ain't your ordinary everyday 4Runner.

Usually I Just hiked in (1/4Mile driveway) and used the Ingersoll with snow blower. The wife would usually be home before me to start using a walk behind snow blower or the Ingersoll 3016PS. Between that and the JD 240 with thrower, we got the job done. Once we got the JD 425, the 425 did the snow removal. Our Landlord and Neighbor would get it with His John Deere or Case utility tractor with 3 Point Blower. It was an aftermarket Blower. That thing would blow dirt & gravel without snow. That how well it was made, but it could clear 6 feet of snow. There were many times he would get to it before I got home, so it just worth having a truck plow. The Army always frowned on me driving my plow truck on Post, it was the only vehicle I had. That got to be a PIA, having to drop the plow before work.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
