That's what I'd like to do, but it's not as easy as it seems. There is NOWHERE within 50 miles of me that can order the cub ones, and everything on ebay or craigslist is a million miles away so shipping would be ridiculous. I did put up an ad wanting to trade, so maybe I'll get a bite.

I haven't a clue why you'd want to buy new ones. It has taken me 6 years or so, but I've collected about 8 pairs of used weights of various brands for 12" wheels. I could have had 3x that amount if I wasn't so cheap. Go to auctions...they show up all the time. More than 90% of my Cub stuff has come from public auctions, and not from ebay, craiglist, etc.

This is really true for just about anything...if you have some patience, you can get excellent deals on most anything at an auction. I rarely buy anything new and save a LOT of money by doing so.

I don't want new ones, I want some that will work, new or old. I have no time for auctions (unfortunately, cause I love them) and the only used ones I find for sale are a long ways off.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
