129 Johnny Bucket-Starter /Gen issue ?
I have a 129 with a Johnny Bucket. After about 30 minutes of moving dirt the engine sounded different. When I shut off the key it kept turning over. I disconnected the battery ground wire to stop it. I figured something overheated in the starter / Generator. I have had the Johnny Bucket for a few years. Has anyone ever had this issue ?

I agree that it is voltage regulator. If it shorts out, it will make the starter / gen crank. I have had that problem. And make sure you get the correct V/R . not a cheap one from e-bay or amazon. A real good one could cost $ 130. - $150. but it will save you alot of problems in the long run. Hope this helps.
