Years ago, in my community we successfully prevented Waste Management from siting a landfill in our town. The old town board members wanted it but the people didn't. So, we elected new board members to reflect the will of the people and kept them out.

In Jacksonville, Florida where my brother lives in a gated community, people are not allowed to fly the American flag on a pole in the front yard! How un-American is that!!!

There are always people trying to take away your freedoms. I'm glad many of them will be heading out the door come January so we can get on with living a more normal life in America.
Yeah, It is very Hard to get the entrenched Politicians Out (our Village President Has Been In almost 30 years on the Board and 20 Plus as President) and there were some election issues last election support advertising that did not say who it was supporting the Village Board for reelection (Violated State Law) Heck the Village Presidents Husband when Out of His way to shoot the Neighbors Dog and our Woke Country Prosecutor Keep On saying there were Going to do a Grand Jury and Nothing happened (covid excuse). Heck, the only way this Village got rid of the last President before her was He Got Convicted of Being a Pedophile. The Neighbor's Lawsuit may finally bankrupt the Village President, causing them to move.

The only good that came out of the Last election was and appointed to run Village Board member that got in. Is not a yes man. Will see how this election in March Goes. Trying to get my brother to run for Village Board. But I think He Might run for County Board in the Mid-terms in 2026. Our county Board President wants to make our county a Sanctuary county, Thank God we have enough county Board members that don't want that. BTW, our Village is in Two counties. The good Thing is our Nazi Plan commission is Pissing off the Village with all the New rules that the Village has passed, it's getting people out to vote this upcoming election so If we get 3 new Village Board members we Might have a chance to stop their crazy agenda

Default Storage cover rant?

You have your work cut out for you in a state like Illinois! Chicago is every bit as bad as LA and NYC!

We have it bad here in NY State too with one party democrat rule. My son lives in NY City and it's a mess with all the migrants, not to mention over 80K homeless people. I used to enjoy visiting him once a year in NY, but I will not go back there because it is not safe.

I wish the idiots in the city would come to their senses and vote out the corrupt leaders...but they don't. The city thrives on all kinds of crime with so many people being paid off not to change things. 62% of the people in NY State live around NY City. In the last election for governor, the whole state voted red...except for all the cities. The blue cities outvoted the rest of the state, reinstalling our corrupt governor and many other legislators.

Cities in NY State, have become plantations for people receiving free rent, food, health care etc. NY is truly a welfare state. The only way democrats can get votes is to provide crumbs to people who don't care what they do as long as they get their public assistance. Everyone wonders where the state gets the money to provide for the needs of the illegals? They want more migrants to add to their city dwelling voters to push them over the top so they win, because everyone has become more aware of the usual cheating that has gone on for years.

It is my hope that with President Trump at the helm, things will change for the better in the next 4 years. It will probably take much longer than that however, to overcome the the desecration of America by sick, corrupt democrats. I pray for the demise of the democrat party with their ideology rooted in evil. Perhaps many people who call themselves democrats, who found that they had been duped by their party will see the light and start leaning right. We will all be better off for it.

I lived In the New York North Country (Watertown/ Fort Drum Area) for at least 7 years of My Military Career, I only left the east coast Twice in My 21.5-year Army Career as either a (Drill Sergeant or Recruiter). Jefferson and Lewis county are different from the rest of New York; at least they were back when I lived there. (I Left In Late spring 2002 after I got back from Afghanistan and retired from the Army). I miss the Mild summers from the North Country.

^^^ Cheap and affective. Also take a piece of light plywood about 18" square and screw several mouse traps to it. Check it occasionally for would be nest builders. You may prevent some tractor terrorist attacks.

Reading some of the situations regarding putting up a shed astounded me , we have some problems but you guys own them
What about a second hand shipping container many people over here buy these containers and convert them to anything from sheds to multi-storey homes
Tell the town planners its a Granny-flat

I bought a Tough Cover XL and very satisfied. Large enough for my 54" deck, and heavy duty construction.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
