1. weld a trailer jack to each leg, (the kind with wheels would even give you manuverability) or 2. insert lengths of smaller diameter pipe that would slide into each leg and attach an electric linear actuator to each leg. |

Haha, that would be cool and very doable for about $250! Could mount them so they swivel to fold flat for storage.
I could also get a set of remote control, truck camper jacks. |

Some cool ideas guys
years ago I made one that folds up against the wall when not in use, there are self supporting stands under each wheel so I can remove the ramps between the wheels so I have full access to drop the deck or to allow unhindered access under the tractor.

I got the legs cut down today and it seems about right. Once the tires are off and the tractor is on jack stands, I can further adjust the working height. This will definitely make work easier!
The rack comes apart by just lifting up on each end piece. |

It’s hard to believe how much easier it is to work on tractors with an elevated stand! No more getting up from kneeling to reach under. No more tired back from leaning way over. Everything seems faster and easier. Don’t know why I waited so long!?!
But the blood rushing to my head and defying gravity is tiresome. lol |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
