Default Looking for some 1720 parts

Hi, looking for some parts for my sons 1720 project. Parts I am looking for are:

Throttle cable assembly.
Choke cable assembly.
And the reservoir for the hydro.

Thanks.

FWIW:
1720's were an economy MTD built lawn mower, and not well respected.
I bought one 12 years back for $50 with a new battery at a garage sale.
I saved the motor for parts, saved the new style spindles, which are desirable and sought after, also cut off the anti scalping wheels and welded them on a 50C deck, as an up grade.
I scrapped the rest, I considered it a good investment.
Not a good idea to throw good money after bad.
Please, no offence just offering unsolicited advice.

I get it, but my 14yr old son wants to fix it up a lil. If it keeps him off his phone and helps him learn a thing or two then that's good enough for me. I might have found a parts tractor not to far from me where he can take the best of the 2 and make 1. Still might need a few parts tho.

My suggestion is this:
Familiarize yourself with how to look up part numbers for what you need.
You can do that by clicking the Cub Cadet Parts & Service icon up above.
OR
click this http://manuals.mtdproducts.com/mtd/Public.do
where you can download your Operator and Parts manuals.
In either case, you will need your tractors model and serial numbers.

Once you find your part numbers, finding the part can sometimes be as simple as Googling that part number.
Results usually returns sites for many parts dealers, and many times eBay postings for that part.

Another possibility is to pick up a donor tractor for parts. Keep your eye on Craigslist Farm+Garden or Free categories. Facebook Marketplace too.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
