Default International #48 tiller

I need some help from you good people , I have a 982 & recently acquired a #48 International tiller for it. My issue is that in a previous life someone has changed to PTO shaft to use it on a diff tractor . I have a new male yoke which locks into the PTO coupler on the tractor but thats all Ive got . If any of you have an original shaft , could you please send pics & length measurements of BOTH halves of the shaft , so that I can build an original design shaft . I can source most of all of the parts through Weasler but Id rather not have to use the non original shaft {which came with the tiller} as a guide. Any help would be greatly appreciated I also realize that this tiller was likely modified for diff PTO speed, but thats easy to do via new sprockets . While Im asking , what is the original tine shaft speed when used on an org Cub 982 with the 2000 rpm PTO Thanks in advance

I sold a Snapper tiller a few years ago that is the same as the IH one. Are you looking for the rear half that attaches to the tiller? If so, I can get some picks and measurements today for you.
Here is the Snapper shaft. It was sold with the tiller.

Sorry OP, I didn't get your info today but I will tomorrow.

Fins, this is the tag on my dad's tiller that I inherited shown in the pic.

Tiller tines are here.

I would call to confirm. I believe another member "Dave1953" purchased some a few years ago and he said they looked correct.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
