Hello all
Hopefully someone can help me get my cub to start Back story Bought 122 with no spark cheap Turns out they wired the coil backwards + to feed in Neg to points and no condenser Replace wiring harness since it had seen better days Brand new battery on charger so I know it’s good New coil wired correctly New carb with 2 turns out from bottomed out on high speed Idle screw 1.5 turns from bottomed out New plug New plug wire New carb to block gasket New points and condenser New fuel and filter She kicks no problem with Ether but dies once ether is burned off It’s like she isn’t getting fuel Now I’m running the fuel line between the coil and the carb down under the carb and feed from below on the points side of the carb. I figure gravity will definitely feed since carb is below the gas tank and The bowl is full CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT IM MISSING |

You can use a spray bottle with gas and spray in carb opening as you crank it over and if it runs on that then you need to disassemble carb and clean. It would be advisable to do this outdoors since a backfire could make things interesting in a hurry.

It’s a brand new carb. Received it in the mail yesterday so I doubt it needs rebuilding and spraying gas into a carb is not something I would ever do

Didn't say anything about REBUILDING the carb. You need to make sure the passages in the carb are open. If you are using a Chinese knockoff for a carb the passages could very well be plugged. It's your tractor but the quickest way to know if it's the carb is to squirt gas in the carb. Or waste a bunch of time trying to figure it out other ways.

If it runs on ether, then you have spark. That leaves fuel. The float could be stuck in your new carb, or a line plugged. Is there gas to the carb if you pull the hose off there? If so, is the bowl full?

Grandpa53 sorry if I came off harsh it wasn’t meant to When I was a young man I did spray gas in a carb on a push mower it backfired and that lead to the mower catching on fire and a 4x4 burn patch in my parents front lawn needlessly to say when dad got home I didn’t sit for a week. I’m also old school you buy something and it’s supposed to work WITHOUT issues and without me having to check some morons work that he was paid to perform so tomorrow I will check it out rip it down and see if I got a Monday hangover carb. Thank you for your help
To answer OP question it states the bowl is full and now I’m going to fill a bowl and relax |

This most likely your problem.
She kicks no problem with Ether but dies once ether is burned off It’s like she isn’t getting fuel Now I’m running the fuel line between the coil and the carb down under the carb and feed from below on the points side of the carb. I figure gravity will definitely feed since carb is below the gas tank and The bowl is full.

Resolved by running gar line right over the carb. She was starving for gas when I ran the gas line under the carb line Thank you to everyone for your guidance |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
