Default Replaced battery

Twelve years ago you probably paid less than half of what you paid for the new battery. That would be something like $57.99. Divided by 12, it would figure to be about $4.83 per year! Pretty cheap!!

The battery you purchased isn't worth any more than what you paid 12 years ago, because the money you paid for it with is now with only worth half as much. Inflation is simply government theft of our money! WE'VE ALL BEEN ROBBED!!

Default Battery...

Did you use a trickle charger on the battery over the winter each year? I managed to get almost 20 years out of the Panasonic battery that was installed in my little Mazda, Miata sports car. When not being driven, I put a trickle charger on it for the 6 months it was stored each year.

Wouldn't you know the dang battery would crap out the year before I sold it! The saying goes, "if anything can go wrong...it will"!!

Guess I have to be glad it lasted as long as it did...

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
