Duke put the RD 1000 up for sale and I just had to have it. Not sure if it'll fit directly on the Original, but if not I'll probably put it on the 71. I guess it would be nice on the 147 too

Anytime Jude! I'm about two and a half hours from, Duke. Let me know, when you're coming down, and it will happen! The loader would look great on your 147!

It would probably be most practical on the 147 and you see a lot of loaders on 124s. But you can't beat the looks of keiths original with the danco loader lol

One thing to think about it is the loader control valve is on the left side of the loader same a the hydro lever. Maybe time for a foot controled update on the 147. ![]() |

Hope you didn't get in to much trouble with the wife:biggrin2.gif:. Well, if it fits on the O' with no mods then that's where it will mounted, if it doesn't fit the O', I'll have a hard time deciding between the 147 or 71, but I leanin towards the 71. Now if I could just find an RD300 for the O' I'd be all set!! Good talkin to ya Duke, and thanks mucho grande!!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
