Help Setting Kohler Carb on 1650
Trying to tune the Kohler carb on our 1650 and have some questions. Following the Kohler Serice Manual process. I do not see a High Idle Fuel Needle Setting so is the carb considered a "Fixed Main jet type"? I can tune the low idle to run really nice at 1200 RPM but am having problems tuning at high throttle. I am setting the Main Jet to the 3 1/2 turns as the Kohler manual says and adjusting the Main Jet. Is this right? How does one tune the HIGH Idle on a Kohler Carb with no High Idle Fuel Needle setting?

Sounds like you have a Walbro carb, not a Kohler carb. The manual should have settings for that.
