New 125 owner from Bucks County PA
I recently purchased a 1968-69 125 as a project tractor, having already renovated a Gravely 8199G tractor and a Ferris zero turn, so this Cub Cadet is just a fun project for a recently retired guy. Who ran at least two of these little Cubs on the farm growing up, mowing seven acres of lawn and orchard each weekend. This unit is pretty rough, but with a fresh K301 rebuild, which is nice, and the hydro feels very tight. I'll post pictures of the before and after, as I'm taking this all the way down to the frame.
Will have a bunch of questions as I'd like to do this "right". Probably will pull a cart or do some light mowing. So hello to everyone. Drew Holland, PA north of Philadelphia

Cant wait to see the pictures. It may get me going on doing another Cub clean up. I cant call mine restorations since I don't get into the details like some folks. Man it feels good in the house tonight with a good wood fire taking off the chill is it May or November? We are in Albion Pa about 10 miles south of Lake Erie. So at opposite corners of the state! thanks for the warm welcome. I'm enclosing some "before" pics, I actually have photographed every square inch of this thing that I can see, so far, to make sure I have a visual record of "how stuff goes back...".
Cosmetically this thing is rough, busted fiberglass, welds in the hood and deck, but otherwise reasonably straight, no rust, and a fresh K301. It looked like it had good bones, but definitely had some hours under its wheels. And so that you will see that I might get this right..., I'm enclosing a pic of my restored 8199G Gravely. But no more pictures of nasty red machines, it will be yellow and white from now on. Oops, sorry red Cub guys... On the stands tonight, wheels coming off tomorrow. Drew
