That area is 1 hour north of me. I've been in that destroyed hospital, and I met a guy in the Walmart/Lowe's parking lot to pick up a 6x10 enclosed utility trailer I found on CL. What a mess there in Joplin! Sunday was a wild day in this area. We're OK here in Bentonville, AR. Got LOTS of rain yesterday. More severe storms are expected later tonight. With any luck we won't have any tornadoes!

Here's a link to some aerial shots and an aerial video of the destruction seen in Joplin. It's been upgraded to an EF5, currently 122 dead and 1500 missing.

There is a commercial on TV, I can't remember the product or the brand, but at the end the woman says basically, "Mother Nature, is that all you got?" I guess whoever did that commercial never realized what Mother Nature can do.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
