Default Wide Front Rim Question
Hey guys,

Front wide rim question. Can I use the wide front rims from a 1250 on my 122? I know the narrow and wide frame rims are different. I want to put some 16x6.50 V61's on the 122. I like the looks of the wide frame fronts rims better. The 1250 rims have the 3/4 spindles. Thanks!

i think the valve stem will end up hitting the spindle???? but i might be wrong. the wide frame rims have the valve stem on the shallow side and the narrow frame rims have the valve stem on the deep dish side. hope this helps

I think they would bolt on with no issues Allen. I have rims from a 1450 on my 102, and there are no clearance issues, and the valve stem is on the outside of the rim. Your 122 would look awesome with V61's on it!!!

Ae you sure about the valve stems? I thought they were all on the outside...I might be wrong, but I pulled a pair from a 1450, and they are on the outside....hmm. Even my 82 series have them on the outside. Just wonderin

You could put the entire front axle on the 122. Gives it a 2 inch wider stance, stronger spindles, no rim clearance issues either. Boy, that would look good!!
