Thread on oil drain plug?
Hi,
It seems my 1450 was previously owned by some very strong guy. First carb bowl had been overtightened to the point of cracking carb body. Next spark plug also had broken threads(helicoil is under way). And now I noticed that oil drain plug has been glued into its place with plastic padding. So I would like to know what is original thread for this? So I can order correct repair helicoil and tool. Tero

that is 3/8-18 NPT Pipe thread. You can get helicoils for this.

Sorry Tero...there are a handful of international members here, so I apologize for assuming you live in the U.S. and would have a Napa auto parts store near by. So.... I would think you could possibly have a DIFFERENT auto parts store that carries this type of thing within reasonable distance. Good luck
