Great Pics Gary, I'm glad your wife snapped some, I forgot all about taking pics once we started talking
O looked like a pro riding that thing, I know when my kids started out, their plan was "I'll push this thumb thingy as far as it goes, then we'll think about the rest later!" but man, he really mastered that thing in about 30 seconds!! I cant get over Hambone...he was so happy just checking everything out, from the dog to the mud puddle, and finally some good seat time...priceless! Who's that handsome, yet vertically challenged fellow on the right? Let us know how that 73 mows for ya, cant wait for some more pics!! Jeff (teet)

Well, I introduced the 73 to some WV hills, and it's reply was "I got a kohler!"
That little 7hp is pretty stout. I love the cut of the 38"!! Now I got to get used to cutting with a clutch again!

I think Gary is quickly becoming the Cub guru in WV. Great pics and great looking machine.

Kristy told me that I can't save every cub in NY!
It really was a great time and I can't get over how much "old iron" is used on those big farms up there. Extremely cool in my book. I was telling Jeff today if I wasn't rushed for time I'd probably still be at Mike's taking pictures and picking his brains.

thanks Allen!! I might be able to get a family portrait tomorrow.
Duke, I will be careful. I hate even having the PTO engaged with them close by. I'm trying to start teaching O on how to be respectful of machinery. I started regularly mowing when I was 6 and took the front end of my grandpa's dynamark out on the second pass around their clothesline. Oops Unlike on Spongebob, fingers don't grow back!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
