Some back ground on what I have it is a 1810 with a 44C deck and mule drive and think about putting dual hydros on it. What all can you do with front hydro hook ups and is it worth it? Now the Pto question when I start mowing and get in tall grass all the belts slow down but, do not stop or squel just slow down. This has started since I got it freed up. Before anytime you cut it on it would not cut off so I sprayed PB blaster in the gap between the mounting bolt in the center and pulley took a couple time but it cuts off and on like it should but, now I have the problem listed above. Could the belts be too long, on the PTO to deck one is 1/2" x 72" and the one on the deck is 1/2"x77 or vice verse i I got the belt sizes from another site. I recently replaced them, by the way the 1810 have been sitting under the shelter for about 8 years before I got it out and running. I had to do something the LT1046 I bought in 2008 is a pain in the neck probally worst thing I have ever bought. The belt won't stay on it or the pulleys bust the center out of them. I have about 2acres to mow in my yard each week.

As for front hydraulics, the only attachment made by cub for them was the power angle for the front blade. For you to add them, you would need to change out you hydro pump for a ported pump. I guess you could run just front hydraulics with it, but you might as well change everything else over to hydraulic lift. Basically make it a 1811.
As far as your belt problem, you have to wrong size belt. The belt from the pto to the deck is a 5/8" belt. Not a 1/2" belt. AJ

Same pump it just lacks few pieces. It probably is capped off at the front of the pump. It can easily be changed to hyd lift. My 1810 pump was capped off and I switched it to hydraulic lift. I just needed to get ahold of the lines, and other parts.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
