Hydro Unit restored...
Got a hydro unit off of nashcub a few months ago and just got around to restoring it, I love the way it looks and now I'm having real trouble deciding to throw it on the 73, or fabricate it for an O'

Sminkey, you could always sell it to me then you wouldn't have to make such a hard decision. It looks great by the way.

Are you sure you didn't run down to the local Cub store and buy that?? LOL
It looks awesome. Your turning into a great refurbisher. I am still learning with the painting myself. It's going to drive me nuts. Looking forward to more of your stuff you get done.

. Gonna sleep on it, but pretty sure I'm going to put it on an O'.Dwayne, that's funny  . Wonder what these would cost today new? I can't remember, but I think I've seen the original price and if I'm not mistaken, I believe it was around $50 for the hydro unit?

You should of fitted it on the O before you painted it. They where never made for the O and had a different size front pulley for them. It does fit but has to get a little modified. I also think the front cyclinder mount has to get tweaked also.
By the way NiCE JOB!! I have 4 of them that need to get put on tractors. Where did you get the front seal for the resevoir? The Large 1.
