Hey Guys , Got this Johnson Workhorse mounted on this 126 and want to break it down and put it on a 123.
Never have done this before , so what is the easiest way to take the loader apart ?? I am pretty much a one man show , so anything to make it simpler to do. Thanks !!!!!!!!! Darrell |

Take some pics of the sub frame. It looks like it's got round tubs on it like a Danco. I didn't think the Johnson's were like that.

Darrell,
Nice loader!! Even nicer cub!!! What you can do is pull the pins holding the main cylinders to the stanchions. Then pull the pins holding the top loader arms to the stanchions. You'll have to take a few hoses loose. After the front of the loader is removed, each stanchion should unbolt from the frame and off the rear axle. Hope this is as clear as mud. This is how I put my loader on the 129 by myself. Duke, The bottom tubes are round on the Johnson's. Here's a pic of mine.

Not a cooler. PO had put some electrical stuff on the frame. Now removed and back to original. Speaking of cooler, it would be nice to have one mounted on one of the cubs. Actual temps today of 98* with heat indexes of 115*. ![]()

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
