Personally, I hate this term. I see it written, referring to wide open throttle, and that is rediculous. Idle does not mean throttle. It means low speed as I have always learned. Correct me if Im wrong as I often am. Idle is the lowest rpm a motor is expected to run and be able to accelerate to full throttle from there smoothly. High idle is to me : a carb (on a car) that has choke w/ high idle to help keep it running when cold. It warms up and adjusts to IDLE. full throttle is full throttle. no idling there. Had to vent.

I start mine the same way you do. I saw in your previous post a way to exemplify my problem with that term high idle. it is just a rediculous term.

Whats wrong with WFO? = wide full open.
High idle is just that, high rpm, no load, or not under working conditions |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
