Default IH CC Decal Options

After restoring my QA36 snow thrower, what are my options for reproduction decals? I know I could have a printer custom make me some, but I would rather buy from a vendor online. Does anyone reproduce the "INTERNATIONAL" and "CADET" decals that I need? I also think there must have been a warning label as I could see remnants of another decal before it was sandblasted.
Thanks for any responses, CaptMax

I contacted these folks once about my 882, and although they didn't currently have the decals, they said they would produce a set if I provided measurements and photos. They said no extra charge, just the regular decal pricing.

Those guys wouldn't even entertain the idea of changing the color scheme on standard Quietline decals, so I didn't get the impression they were all that flexible.

Ditto....I was trying to get some custom decals for my 149 project, called all the suppliers I could, none of them would change the color scheme. I wanted factory decals with just a change of color, am painting the 149 red and did not think the blue stripe would look all that great on a red tractor. As a last resort I thought I would try the local sign shop, they said no problem, and made me a custom set for my hood. The ones I got are not exact reproductions, but close enough, and should look good with the red color scheme I am going with....if I ever get it done!

They cost me $25.00, here is a picture of what I got:

They probably were not interested in the color scheme change because they have to run a minimum number of sets, and don't have any outlet for non-OEM decals.

I think you're right about that. They would only be interested in making something that they could mass produce and sell such as OEM decals. I had asked them to make the 982D decals and they were actually pretty rude and everyone that knows me know I'm a really nice guy to talk to so I know it wasn't me. I would have just preferred a kind "no". I still wouldn't hesitate to order from them though as they make great decals and probably get bugged alot about custom decals. I ended up having a local place do it. It could also be one of those copy right things.

Well Maple Hunter is willing to "look at my artwork" and then they would decide if they would make them. It didn't sound like they were opposed to making them, but it didn't sound too encouraging either. Good news is that Scott at Madson's Service said he has them. I will be placing an order with him soon. So there you have it.... now everyone knows where they can order them from if they need them. A special "THANKS" to Scott.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
