Homemade Rockshaft
Has anyone ever made a homemade rock shaft for the 3 point for a WF.I was thinking of making one out of some 2 inch thick walled square tubing

Not quite done with mine . I still have to weld on the lift arm. I built this for my 682. Pics to follow.

cub1450 that is for a sleeve hitch. Like I said it is not complete yet. I don't have the lower bracket mounted yet.

cubs-n-bxrs,
What is the bolt on (Pittman ?) arm on the right side of your photo from? In other words, where can I get that piece from? Is the pivot shaft solid? I like what you have done with this so far.  Hope to see it when you are done. Jim

Why not just buy a real rear lift? You can usually find them for about $60-$100

jpackard56 that pittman arm is off of a steering knuckle from a 2185 cub. The original square hole was 5/8th and I milled it out to 3/4' for a little more durability. The round shaft is a 1" solid piece of tool steel that is more than capable of lifting a 100lb plow in the air.
Yamaguy whats the point of spending 60-100$ on a set up when I can build one for nothing. And I got the satisfaction saying I built this myself. Matt clamping that to the rock shaft will be fine. Doesn't even move a 1/4 turn and is a press fit on top of that. For added protection I will be using green Loctite when it is finished assembled. The end of the shaft is square where the pittman arm is fastened so there will be no slippage anyway.
