Wide frame 3 point hitch question
hello all ...
ive got a Cub 1450 ... been looking for a rear 3 point hitch .... seems there are two versions of these .... early wide frame builds have a shaft with washers and pins that hold it in the frame and later builds have a hitch thats held with sleeve bolts and nuts .... my question is will the early wide frame work with / interchange with the later builds that are held in place with the sleeve bolt / nut configuration. Hope i've described this so that you guys know what i'm taking about. tks, Bryan

The Cubs that use the rod has round spacers welded to the frame. The Cubs that use the Franky bolts has a thinner jam nut instead of the spacers welded to the frame.
And , i think the Cubs that use the rod have a smaller hole in the frame ??? Can't remember at the moment !!

The cast upper rockshaft is the same for either version. The only difference is if your frame will need the 5/8" shaft or if you need the Frankenstein bolts. As stated, if spacers are already welded inside the frame you need the shaft, if there are no spacers you need the bolts.
