If I may.... what are you guys needing this manual for? None of the internal parts are available without matching up or outsourcing. Your really kind of on you own if you take it apart. There is a nice blowout in the parts books... so, what is it exactly you are trying to do? All as this unit is is a power steering pump. Ford used one almost identical on their tractors.

I can't speak for the others who wanted a copy of this file. I however wanted one to add to my collection of service manuals, parts manuals and tips and tricks information that I or someone else may find useful.

When I die and my Daughter goes to sell off all these tractors, attachments and implements an enthusiastic young buyer (who may or may not know what he's doing) may just be a little more inclined to buy such items if there is a binder full of information to go with whatever it is that he has his eye on.

Besides that, there may be one tiny bit of information in this file that I didn't already know that could sometime in the future make my life just a little easier and if there is, then I believe it is worth downloading. I also like to read about things that I'm interested in.

Not that I really needed a reason to want it.

My NF aux pump is leaking from the adjustment arm, not the main shaft that the pulley is mounted on. I understand there's not much to the pump...just interested in disassembling it properly, and finding out if it has a replaceable o-ring.

I have emailed the repair write up to several people. I would like to post it but it's too big. If someone can forward it to a moderator to put it in the repair second that would be fine,
I did not write this. It was taken from and older Cub site.

Send it to me and I'll take a look and see what I can do with it.

Hi there! I’m new to this forum and need some help. Just picked up a hydro lift for my narrow frame, the seller claims the cylinder leaked and given the general condition of the unit I would like to go through it and replace whatever looks worn or may be in need of replacement. Having said that does anyone out there have a service manual for one of these things? It would be greatly appreciated!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
