The center spindle is sitting at a SEVERE angle for some reason. It needs to be level like the other two blades. That may be the reason your belt is coming off.

You probably should look at that first.

That's what I thought too Lew, wrong sub-frame. So, the one he has, what deck is it for?

Also, I believe that the mule drive pulley on the R.H. side (as sitting in the seat) needs to be on the other side of the arm. Or the arm is bent or something. They shouldn't be that close together.

Under edit...

He has a subframe for a 38" timed deck that you could get a conversion kit to fit on the newer tractors at the time. Pics of the eye bolt part of it is different, so it will not lift the front up higher. If you look at the front where the mule drive attaches you can still see the original hangers turned up under mulde drive pulley assembly.
That was easy.

So Lew, you're saying this subframe is for a deck like the originals have? This is the subframe that came with my tractor, I just never used it. Took the deck off as soon as I got the tractor. So a different subframe and I'll be all set correct?
Thanks,
Brent

Yes it is for an Original, you should take off those brackets you have under the mule drive that are still on the tractor also and hang on to them.
A different subframe would work, but if it had a O deck on it the mule drive pulley setup will be different.Got some good pics of it?

Download the cpe mowers in the tech section and check out the differences.

I'm not seeing what you're talking about. Here are some more pics of the mule drive. I want to make this my main mowing machine, so I really want to get this thing straightened out. If these pics are not what you are looking for, I can get any pic.

Thanks,
Brent

This is a subframe Sam is selling. Is this what I would need? Then possibly the mule drive.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
