Boat anchor or scrap your pick. Get a good one. How is the crank?

I think it survived. Some scoring on the taper but looks serviceable.

Was just kidding about the JB Weld. The vibration that thing would put out would surely kill my rear bearing.

Got any extra flywheels in the pile Sam?

Bill

I've used Belzona a few times, great stuff. Too bad it isn't sold in small quantities like JB Weld.

I've never heard of it but I'm not surprised such a thing exists. Thanks to the fine folks here on OCC I should have no problem replacing the flywheel without great cost.

In the mean time the K321a is out and on the floor, the K301 from my 127 is swinging from the rafters right now waiting to go in the 149. That'll give me a running tractor with hydro lift on the 149 for snow management and time to recondition the 127 chassis for mowing season.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
