![]() See that round hole right below the zero of "104"? Light switch goes there. On your loose pto pulley.........when properly installed there are three pointy set screws in it, then a blunt nose set (jambing) screw on top of each pointy set screw. |

Thats a beautiful cubby!! Thank You for your help, I appreciate it!! My 105. Built the hitch and winch for it for a buddy and he gave me my 104, that I love. He is selling out and buying a house in VA. So i got this one for doing some repair work on current house. Also talked him outta a metal car port(cubby port). Gonna be my shop to restore the both this coming up winter.20150407_101306.jpg

Is there something to put in between hydro cylinder and lift arm as create down pressure? Tires are loaded but would like to find cubby weights also. Actually one tire on each tractor is loaded. He had flat and stole one for other. What is 105 worth with qa36 snow blower and 48" deck, with manual lift?

For down pressure, there is a small metal clip that slides over the end of the cylinder arm to act as a float lockout. I don't have a picture at the moment, I'll try getting one tonight when I get home. As for price for what you're putting together, I think $450-500 would be reasonable: $300 for a working tractor with deck, $150-$200 for an operable snow thrower. Good luck with your mud, pretty swampy up in my neck of the woods too, in the areas that aren't still under 1-2 feet of snow.

If you put down pressure on the blade, you will just bend the rod.

I am not gonna be diggin a pond!! Just scraping wet clay from top of sod without blade riding up and over it. Town is bringing me dirt from ditch cleaning and usually it is so wet i end up just driving over pile! Thanks for the replys.20150408_122210.jpg
20150408_122222.jpg Here she is before we got stuck, guy i got both 104 & 105 swapped rear tires so one is loaded on each tractor! So light side spins soon as clutch catches. Shoulda known better and used big chraftsman wider tires loaded with used antifreeze and 60# wheel weights per wheel! Woulda made BIG ditches but we woulda came out together oh well!

I am confused about this post, is it your 104 and your wife that are complete or your wife and your 105? And which of these three do you believe to be "a thing of beauty"?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
