Can someone direct me to the exact parts I will need at xtreme to mount this to my 2182. I see a variety of parts so a little help would be appreciated. Again I do NOT have the lift rod so I will need everything. Thanks!

Any chance you can get a more thorough look the neighbors shed/garage to find the original parts? Nice looking tractors you have there.

Already turned the place upside down looking for the parts. The owner passed away and his brother and I looked everywhere. No clue where the parts may be. Its very disappointing.

Default Snowbloer Parts Found!

Look what the original owner of the Snowblower found today! The missing parts! Question, look at the lift bracket on my 2182. Will I even need the black lift bracket that is attached to the lift rod?

I think that black bracket is for the later rockshafts and you won't need it.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
