Default Mounting a 45" Snowblower on 2182 or 682
Hi All -

I have a neighbor who has a 45" snowblower (190-451-100). However, he is missing the lift rod and the chute rod/lever to turn the chute. First, will this mount on a 2182 and/or a 682 easily? I have both but would prefer to mount it on 2182. I see that cub cadet sells the lift rod but it is multiple pieces and the total would be about $125-$150. I do not want to spend that kind of money. Is there an easy way to build/replace this part? Or does anyone on here have the parts I need and want to sell them at a reasonable price?

Good question,the 682 is out of the question,you will need both spring assist and the pulley on the pto is a different size.The 2182 is a good choice,but you will also need the 529 kit to mount the blower to a super.

The 451 blower is made for the cyclops. Although it will mount to the 682, I don't know if you will like lifting it by hand.. they're heavy.

xtrememotorworks.com should have all the parts you need to make it lift.

The 451 would be for the 2182. I would think you could rig up your own lift rod.

he will still need the extension kit and a longer belt,extreme has them

What did the neighbor have it mounted to? A gt or sgt? That 2182 is a nice looking beast by the way.

Im not sure what he mounted it to. He passed away and had a GT and a SGT. The snowblower is missing the lift rod and the chute rod assembly. Everything. This is frustrating. Just need an easy fix. Does Extreme have all parts I need?

P.S. 2182 has 82 hours.
