The fuel pump is the silver thing, attached with one bolt,, with a fuel line in and out.

Not bad for the 1st of Feb. No heat in my shop but the sun hits just right in the afternoon so just a sweatshirt. Supposed to be decent tomorrow also.

bringing back memories and my first truck and the one I almost bought ,

1st truck has a SC NTC290 in it , was a S2100 model binder , when I bought it it was on its first inframe , had a 9 speed and sqhp axles , and hendricksen suspension ( was a odd set up but came from a grocery fleet ) after my first year I had it pumped and tuned and was putting out around 400 and changed the trans to a 13 speed , hauled some heavy steel loads with it ..

I almost bought a early 70's 361 brockway with a 8v71 leaker with a 13 speed , but the truck was heavy and Brockway is a oddity in Chicago ( even though its a mack ) but the rust was too much .. bought a Autocar instead

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
