Your situation is all over our news and the devastating effects it has had. I saw where one of your fellow Aussies said that you have lost up to 50% of your Koala population on our 5 o'clock news. Just caught the late edition of the news and Indiana has a group of ladies doing anything that they can help, so they are knitting pouches and small blankets, etc. to send that way for the little critters to have just trying to help out in some way. I also think the US is sending fire fighters your way to help battle the fires. We feel for our friends down under and will keep you and your country in our thoughts and prayers.

Yeah, we still have a lot to learn in our control and care of our environments to create preventative measures so this does not happen in the future.

With thoughts and concerns, my friend....

We are in extreme drought , not as bad as the reported Federation drought 1902 but it is a drought , that is when it is hot and dry to explain to the greenies then we will get some rain that is when it is cold and wet to explain to the greenies
Most people with a modicum of common sense call it the weather and no amount of Climate change based lies will alter it

We are now up to a total of 7 million hectares of fire ravaged land and the climate change greenies had a protest about the fires
Not one of them did anything about it like get out and help put them out
They have an agenda and it is firstly to shout down anyone who opposes their opinion and secondly it is about the money , how much can they waste on non viable or reliable alternatives

It has started to rain dampening down a lot of the fires and putting some out , now we will have the greenies complaining they are getting wet due to climate change
We have had about 40 mm since 4p.m. yesterday and it is still raining woohoo
Oz
ps Thanks for all the good wishes , good people donated $150 million dollars cash and untold millions in goods for those affected

Heard a report the other day you folks have gotten hammered with rain. The "good part" is it really knocked down the fires.

The "bad part" was a lot of flooding.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I also read that the areas that were using the aboriginal methods of burning ( small burns right after wet season) kept the the wildfires smaller.
If true, hope more areas adopt that approach.
Good luck
Jeff
Yep we got hammered
Here is a poem about Australia that was written back way before the greenies evolved
I love a sunburnt country,
A land of sweeping plains,
Of ragged mountain ranges,
Of droughts and flooding rains.
I love her far horizons,
I love her jewel-sea,
Her beauty and her terror -
The wide brown land for me!
Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
