I seen you where you are going to have your hydro check valves rebuilt , i would strongly suggest getting the automatic valves instead. They are ALOT more convenient , especially once your flapper that holds them down breaks. They may seem pricey , but well worth it.

Go Here .... http://onlycubcadets.com/

The link ain't workin' , go to Technical Library , Tractors , Hydro Check Valves , and there is a supplier.

Thanks guys! ...This is turning out much nicer than I thought it would!

Going to try and get the transmission/rear end done, and ready to prime tomorrow. Then prime it, and finish priming the frame Thursday morning...Before the 90-100 degree temperature!

I am planning on shooting the frame and trans/rear end with paint this weekend sometime...Can't wait to try out the new gravity feed gun!

Looks great mrcubcadet! Be sure to wear a great respirator if you are painting with hardener. It'll look awesome when you're done.

Thanks, bud!

I will make sure to if I do..But I don't believe I'm going to use hardener on the frame, and rear end.

Spent a couple hours this morning working on the trans/rear end..

Took the rear cover off, dumped out all the green Hy-Tran, and replaced the gasket..Then took the hydro pump off, and replaced the old thin cork gasket. Sealed everything back up, and then installed the rebuilt relief valves. This thing shouldn't have any leaks, now!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
