I sprayed it down in with a straw and put a pretty good amount in and let it sit for a few minutes, once I hooked the battery up and it started working I flipped it over to drain the extra fluid out and put it back together. Hopefully it keeps working but if not it will get replaced by an oil pressure guage.

i finally got some free time to work on the 1811, the hour meter repair didnt last and it stopped working again so i replaced it with an oil pressure gauge and was happy to see that it carries 55lbs at an idle and about 65lbs at wot when warmed up. the po must have had some extra lighting and had a ton of extra wires running all over the place so once i got it all sorted out i have working lights except for one headlight thats burned out. the cat 0 lift went on easy enough and tomorrow i will make lift links so it will be complete, i also tubed the front tires. also on the list for tomorrow is to mount the snow plow and bolt on the winter tires that are already loaded and have the chains on. i had a fun day working on it and it was really nice to take it for the first ride all in one peice.
