It would have to be a casting number. IH part numbers are different, and the SN#s don't have letters.

I don't have much use for O's but if that is a prototype, I don't think it is, he will get $2500 easily.

There ya go. 351530. 35 15(if you squint, jump up and down, and drink a case of fine pilsner, looks like "of") 30.

Oh no, that doesn't make sense, 35 of 30??????

Really makes one wish that people would do a little research before getting everyone excited. Now if he does have a prototype or reproduction, I'll eat crow............

Cubby 102, go look at this thing this this weekend and let us know the scoop.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
