Default Finally a sunny day for painting

Luckily I had my deck and narrow rims for my 1000 cleaned & ready for paint. Sunny day with low humidity in WV, so I primed and painted off and on all day. Was able to mask and save the decals, and the yellow covers didn't need painted after I degreased and waxed them.

Also degreased and cleaned and waxed the under side of the tractor, mower carriage, differential etc. It's almost ready to take out and get dirty.

Ditto!

Can't wait for our weather to get somewhat consistent.

Was 80 last Sunday, wearing a winter coat today.

Hey thanks alot guys. I pretty much got it back together today and got the tri ribs on, and got the carryall frame from Merk (which looks to be superbly crafted). The local tire shop did a nice job installing the tires and tubes for $5 each. Here's a pic, and I got a few other pics of it outside today, I'll post later on the pic thread in the IH section.

I appreciate all the help you guys have given me, and big thx to Mike for hookin' me up with the narrow wheels. And the good thing is, you can see in the background, I still have all 4 turf tires on the wide wheels to put on once in a while, or maybe someday put ags on.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
