Default Mower ?
I have a guy in my home town with a 126 and a 149 and he is wanting $400 for each of them. They both run and have decks. What do you guys think?

A good running/driving/mowing 149 is definitely worth $400. I paid $600 for mine, older restoration with a 48" deck, that needed very little to be a "daily driver." The 126 I can't really comment on. I'm sure a NF guy will chime in.

Thanks for your input. The guy that has them is retired and likes to fix up different mowers. He has to stop an oil leak on the 149. I think that i will end up buying the 149.

You'll love the 149, compared with the 126 you get more power, hydro, and a hydraulic lift (which you don't realize how much you actually need this feature until you have it).

149's are one of the most sought after cubs. Plenty of torque and power and the wide frames are much easier to work on if you have to maintenance the drive train. One of those are on my list of wants. Hope you get it. Oh we love to see pics!!

Im with DX3 on that 149! Plus, for me, Im looking to find one close to my birthday. Would love to have one same age as me.
