Default Which state?

Is there a way to see all the members from a certain state? I would love to be able to check locally with other users on here for parts or things for sale. I think it would also be handy to be able to notify anyone thats local to you of an upcoming event incase they dont see it posted in the event section. I could even use it during my travels and maybe could meet up with long distance members if im in there area. Just thoughts and wonderings. Thanks

I don't know if there's a state register or not. I guess I'm somewhat in the middle of the NC and PA gang, my only problem is I got a bad habit of going up to NY to pick anything up! I've got to meet 5 guys so far this year and hopefully I can make it down to NC sometime and get up with a couple more.

Gary, you should def get down here for a plowday. That would be great. Even if you just brought the cub with the sickle down, we would all have something to drool over!

There used to me a cool little service called Frappr.

It would let you create a user-group map and the members could input their address and name and it would place a pin on the map. It was bought out by a larger company that collects demographic information. They've removed it from free service..

Google has a similar tool called guestmap I've never used it.

some of the bigger car forums I am on have a regionals section. Instead of state by state it is grouped in areas like great lakes, pacific north west, etc.

I've saw also on another cub site, some type of google earth plugin where users can pinpoint their locations and bring it up in google earth.

i go to a steelers site and they have this for members to help see and meet others a bit http://www.mcmillenandwife.com/mnw_map1.html

i am by no way a tech guy but on that site you email your address to one guy and he inserts a pic and name to the map. like many i can suggest but do not know how of if it could help this site be all every one would like.

and like other sites the moderators do not get enough credit or thanks for there time and hard work they give to make this the best cub site on the web.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
