Good Morning. This is my first time on this site. I recently purchased a Cub Cadet IH 100. I am looking to put a hydraulic pump on it. I have seen this done and I see the space for it to fit in, now I just need to know where I can buy one. Once I get this on does anyone know what type of attachments I can use it for? Bucket, Tiller...etc. Thanks for any info.

You can put a hydraulic unit on your 100. Look here for the NF Hydraulic owners manual. The 100's did not come predrilled for the pump but the manual shows what you need to do to mount the unit. 100's look awesome with them installed on them.http://ccmanuals.info/pdf/ There are lots of things you can attach to your 100. Like front blades, rear blades, garden plows, tillers (with the addition of a creeper gear), snow throwers (with the addition of a creeper gear), front end loaders and hte list goes on and on. Check out this section of the site for some ideas of what your 100 can have attached to it. http://www.onlycubcadets.net/forum/f...splay.php?f=16 Look around we've got tons of info for you to read and learn from. We love pics!

The mounting holes are already drilled, maybe it had hydrolics on it previously. The front already has a snow thrower mounted on it and it came with wheel weights, tire chains and a dual axle cart all for $600. I was just going to use it to throw snow, but if I can get a plow or a bucket mounted to it I will be in heaven. Unfortunately I am not as mechanically talented as I see some of these fellas are. I may have to get a mechanical friend , or start dumping some cash into it. I will see if I can post some pics and maybe some members can tell me what is original and what needs replaced. Thanks

becullum!! Glad to hear of your recent purchase....sounds like you got a really nice deal and a fine cub for your $$. The manual for the hydraulic lift will tell you to cut your clutch sheild in half, but if you want a better look, then you can actually notch it out like some of us have done on this site. I mounted one on my 123 and it makes lifting anything so much easier!! I think that you will find people who will help you with any questions that you might have or will point you in the right direction to solve any of your problems that you might have while working on your cub cadet. We look forward to seeing your pictures of your cub posted soon.....again, welcome!!Cub Cadet 123

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
