Wonder how it quits? Like just shuts off or starves out? Ive been known to mess up one or two.

Im not perfect like others are.

Ill be in the truck all day tomorrow, have to go about 3 hours east of Monroe. Going to swing past David Greens place with an empty wagon and steel his tractors. Ill leave the green one!

Im so bad!

I might be there, I might not, but I know my friends Mr Smith and Mr Wesson will be there. Speaking of empty wagon, Ive got one for you!! Had a guy come buy today and wanted it.

And that Green one is the best one here. So I wont be too upset. Besides, I know how to find you.

Thumbs up the rescue

Dug deeper found, was firing back through the carb, checked the plugs, first one I pulled was a champion rcy17 gapped at 45 thous. soaking wet, pulled and put a Autolite 3924, gaped to 32 thous. the second plug was champ. dry gapped to 35 thous. left it in till I can git another good Autolite. Intermittantly it has no volts to any thing. pulled the ground wire off the Ign. sw. so mag can work, hot wired starter to run, sprayed gas from a windex bottle, direct to carb, pulled, choked to 3/4 full, throttle to a little more than idle. hot wired starter to run, Engine fired right off no knocks/smoke!!! got a good one Ing. sw replace, check grounds/wiring, will be another winner!!!
Love working on Class equipment, MTD stuff is a little touchy but can be saved!!!!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
